Upcoming Program about Rosie the Riveter

Join us for this wonderful program looking at the role of women in WWII.

Rosie the Riveter

October 5th, 7pm Broomfield Library, Eisenhower Room But who was the real Rosie?  Was she just one woman or one of many who stood up to fill an important need and ultimately helped win the war?  Instead of a lecture, a local author, Shirley Jamiel, has created a skit of Rosie the Riveter which takes a creative venue of answering the questions many have asked over the years.  It is set in an imaginary interview by a recently retired television talk show host who asks, “Who are you and will the real Rosie the Riveter please stand up?”
